Oregon just took the top spot in the country for price cuts. 48.9% of homes for sale statewide are now under a reduced ask — breaking a tie with Colorado. Across the PNW, more sellers are chasing a clearing price month over month. Bend jumped 7 spots in a week on the national motivated seller index (25 → 18). Price cuts there went from 37% of inventory at the start of the season to 52.7%. What that means in Portland: a statewide headline is not your street. Lake Oswego, Raleigh Hills, Beaverton, and West Linn are not the same market as Bend. Some homes still move fast when they are priced right. Overpriced ones cut. That is the real read.
